Investigate prefrontal field-potential bursts using Neuropixels in awake head-fixed mice, neuronal-spiking and LFP analysis, optogenetics and cognitive behaviour in the Sebastian Bitzenhofer group.

PhD in neuroscience, neurobiology, computational neuroscience, physics or a related discipline; electrophysiology and/or quantitative neural-data analysis; Python or MATLAB. In-vivo recordings, ephys analysis and rodent experience are advantages.
