Postdoctoral studies on the function of circuits and neuron subtypes (scholarship)

Investigate how defined mouse neuron populations control motivation and decisions, using circuit recordings, imaging, optogenetics and behavioural tasks.

Doctorate or equivalent completed before the start. Scholarship eligibility is limited to researchers coming from abroad: residents of Sweden and people educated wholly or partly in Sweden are ineligible. Maximum two scholarship years within four years after doctorate. Extensive circuit/systems-neuroscience and quantitative/programming skills; at least one first-author paper.

Tax-free scholarship, set for 12 months at a time and paid every six months; amount not stated.
