Postdoctoral studies in microglial contributions to autism spectrum disorders (scholarship)

Investigate how genetic changes and prenatal immune challenges affect microglial subtypes, neuronal development and autism-related behaviour.

Doctorate or equivalent completed before the start. Scholarship eligibility is limited to researchers coming from abroad: residents of Sweden and people educated wholly or partly in Sweden are ineligible. Maximum two scholarship years within four years after doctorate. Strong microglial-biology, neurodevelopment or related background and documented molecular/cellular research. iPSC, microglia–neuron cultures, imaging, animal models and bioinformatics are advantages; strong English required.

Tax-free scholarship, set for 12 months at a time and paid every six months; amount not stated.
