Reliable detection of cognitive and affective states from biomedical signals

Study temporal dependencies and leakage in EEG/biomedical signals to improve reliable inference and prediction of cognitive/affective states. Supervisor: Christoph Tremmel.

Relevant 2:1 degree, programming and quantitative analysis; signal-processing/ML or behavioural-experimental background. IELTS 6.5 overall, minimum 6.0 each, where required. Apply through the research portal to PhD Computer Science (7089), selecting 2027/28 and naming the supervisor. Include research proposal, CV, two academic references, transcripts/certificates and English evidence if applicable.
