Combine OPM-MEG, visual frequency tagging and multilevel modelling to understand attention and motor preparation from childhood to adulthood. Supervisors: Kyungmin An and Carmel Mevorach. Named project for October 2027 entry.

申请要求

Relevant first-class or high 2:1 degree, or equivalent; low 2:1 plus a relevant Masters or at least three years postgraduate experience may be eligible. Lower grades require exceptional additional experience. Theoretical/computational and experimental backgrounds welcome. Meet Birmingham programme English conditions if offered; exact level depends on the PhD programme. Apply via the project-linked MIBTP-specific Birmingham route, using the exact title and primary supervisor, and complete the ED&I form. CV and research-methods question required; no research proposal. Maximum one project per programme and five programmes.

资助与薪酬

Competitive four-year MIBTP studentship: all tuition fees at Birmingham, including international tuition, plus UKRI-rate stipend (2026/27 reference £21,805), research consumables and travel/conference support.

资助条件

Awards are allocated on the strength of the candidate application, not automatically to every listed project. Up to 30% of awards may go to international students. Birmingham covers the overseas/Home tuition difference for successful award-holders.
